As we enter the final month of the year, many school boards will hold reorganization meetings on top of their regular business meetings this month.
One such board is the Homer-Center school board, which will hold its reorganization meeting tonight at 7:00 prior to the start of their regularly scheduled planning meeting. Four board members will be sworn in tonight, then the board will vote on its slate of officers and the meeting dates and times for 2022.
The Penns Manor school board will also meet tonight, but not for their reorganization meeting. It will be for their regular planning meeting, with the board reorganization taking part before the regular voting meeting next week. Topics of discussion at tonight’s meeting, which starts at 7:00 at the Penns Manor administration building, will include an update on the hiring process for a new volleyball head coach and for the new business manager for the district, along with an update to the district’s comprehensive plan.
