IUP guard Armoni Foster has been named PSAC West Athlete of the Week for his performance Saturday in the Crimson Hawks’ 97-45 win over Virginia State. Foster recorded a triple- double in the game, with 22 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. It is one of only two triple-doubles in Division Two this season. It was the third triple-double in IUP history, after Malik Miller’s in February of 2020 and Yancy Taylor’s 25 years ago.
This is Foster’s fourth career PSAC weekly honor. He was a two-time player of the week and one-time defensive player of the week during the 2019-20 season
