Snow plow drivers were out treating roads throughout Indiana County as the first accumulating snow of the season struck the area late yesterday. While the snow did not accumulate much, it was enough to make roadways slick overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.
The Accuweather forecast for Indiana County predicts a total snow accumulation for the weekend of one to three inches, but the National Weather Service does say there is the possibility of as much as four inches overall in higher elevations. There could be more snow showers Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
