After a quiet day on Thanksgiving, first responders were busy on Friday with several different calls.
At 2:15 PM, Clyde, Armagh and New Florence Fire Departments were dispatched for a vehicle fire on Crawford Road in West Wheatfield Township. No details have been released yet concerning the fire.
Commodore fire department was dispatched for what was originally termed as a miscellaneous call at 3:23 PM. The call was for a transformer that caught fire on Route 580.
One vehicle accident was also reported on Friday by Indiana County 911. The crash was on Route 422 East in Pine Township. State Police were dispatched at the time along with Pine Township fire department and Blacklick Valley EMS. A report on the crash has not been released yet.
