Broadband accessibility is one of the biggest items on Indiana County’s wish list, and officials are asking county residents to help them identify the areas of biggest need.
The Indiana County Center for Economic Operations urges county residents to complete a survey being conducted by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Connected team, which is developing what it calls a “Connectivity Roadmap” for the 10 counties of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission.
The survey targets the ten-county region of the SWPA, including Indiana County and neighboring Westmoreland and Armstrong, along with Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, and Washington. It asks questions about internet connections types, how the internet is used in your household, and how satisfied you are with your service. All of the information you provide is anonymous and the survey is not connected with any providers and will not be used to try to sell you internet services.
You could also win a fifty-dollar Visa Gift card for completing the survey.
You can take the survey online at spcregion.org or by phone at 412-407-4555.
