The holiday season kicked off last night in Indiana with the tree lighting ceremony at IRMC Park and the holiday parade that followed through the downtown district.
Close to 70 units were part of the parade this year, and according to parade organizer Hastie Kinter, attendance was close to the levels that it saw in 2019 before the pandemic.
The parade and the festivities last night served as the kickoff to the It’s A Wonderful Life celebration at IRMC Park in Downtown Indiana each weekend starting today through December 19th. For more information on the festival, check out the It’s A Wonderful Life Festival on Facebook.
