On Thursday, the Homer-Center School Board approved an agreement with an architectural firm to go over a wish list of projects for the district.
The agreement with HHSDR Architects will cost the district $19,000, and according to Gerald Bertig of the Buildings and Grounds Committee, the firm will assess the buildings in conjunction with discussions with the district on what needs improvement or repair.
Some of the projects on the list include the wall in front of the kindergarten area, a stairwell for the senior high wing, and areas that were not covered in the last renovation. The agreement also includes a $10,000 credit if an elementary school renovation should occur within three years.
In other business, the board approved purchasing a new electronic scoreboard for the football field from Institutional Specialties at a cost of $18,500.
