The Penguins slump continued last night as they lost to Buffalo on home ice.

Mike Sullivan will not be eligible to coach the Penguins on Thursday night in Montreal because of Canadian law that does not permit anyone who has tested positive for covid-19 within 14 days to enter the country. Sidney Crosby and Brian Dumoulin will be eligible.
The big Penguins news yesterday was the potential sale of the team to Fenway Sports Group LLC, the owners of the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Park. The Wall Street Journal reported the talks yesterday afternoon, writing that the sale is in “advanced negotiations”. Under the agreement, Mario Lemieux would remain with the team as a minority owner and there would be no substantial changes in hockey operations.
Fenway Sports Group also owns the New England Sports Network, the English soccer team Liverpool F.C., and NASCAR team Roush Keselowski Racing. Its principal owner is John Henry, with a number of partners, including Pittsburgh native Larry Luchino and basketball star LeBron James.
