Indiana Borough Police have charged an Indiana woman with trying to push someone over the railing at the Atrium building on Veterans Day.
Police say they were dispatched at 8:44 PM to the business complex at 665 Philadelphia Street. When police got there, they found Mary Dawson of Indiana had assaulted a staff member and tried to push the staffer over the railing, leading to a 12-foot drop. Dawson was in a highly intoxicated state at the time. She was lodged in Indiana County Jail. A criminal complaint was filed with District Judge Guy Haberl, charging her with public drunkenness, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
