At Steelers practice yesterday, running back Najee Harris and center Kendrick Green were limited and both landed on the injury list. Harris has a bad foot and Green a sore hamstring. Ben Roethlisberger and Chase Claypool were both out.
A day after being full participants at a walk-through practice, defensive end Cam Heyward and linebacker Robert Spillane were limited for the full workout. Both have ankle injuries.
Linebacker/edge rusher Jacob Tuioti-Mariner was signed to the Steelers’ practice squad yesterday after being cut by Atlanta. He’s actually played a lot of football this year for the Falcons, getting two sacks in six games.
The Steelers play the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field.
