POLICE REPORTS: SIMPLE ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT

INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE

A Luzerne County man was charged with simple assault and harassment for an incident last Sunday in Indiana Borough.  Police say that at 9:00 PM, police were dispatched to investigate a domestic incident that had occurred earlier in the day.  It was determined that 22-year-old Dylan Laurie had physically assaulted an un-named victim.  He was taken into custody and arraigned in front of District Judge Guy Haberl.  He is free after posting $5000 bail.  A preliminary hearing is set for November 17^th.

A Pittsburgh woman was arrested for harassment for an incident in the early morning hours of October 24^th.  Police say that at 12:57 AM, 21-year-old Tamyla A. Jennings was at a business in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street.  The victim claimed he was subjected to unwanted physical contact by Jennings while she was being escorted out.  A citation was filed with District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.

Indiana Borough Police have filed charges against an Indiana man for Disorderly Conduct for an incident in late October.  Police charged 65-year-old Don Lancaster as a result of an incident that happened at 3:47 PM in the 500 block of South 7^th Street.
