UPDATE: Homer Center will play Cochranton, the District 10 champs who beat West Middlesex 3-1 yesterday. The game will be played on Tuesday, site and time to be announced.
The Bishop Guilfoyle Lady Marauders were too much of a match for the Homer-Center Wildcats as the Wildcats lost in three straight sets in the District 6 finals on Saturday Altoona High School. Homer-Center kept it close for most of the afternoon, as the set scores were 25-22, 25-20 and 25-17.
It’s not the end of the season for the Lady Wildcats, as they now enter the PIAA tournament to play the number one team out of District 10.
