The Homer-Center Wildcats, the Heritage Conference volleyball champion, takes on No. 6 Bishop Guilfoyle for the District 6A championship Saturday at noon at Altoona High School.
The team visited the WCCS studio for Indiana in the Morning on Friday morning.
The team has lost only nine sets this season and is currently ranked No. 5 in Class A by the PA Volleyball Coaches Association, but defeated the No. 2 team, West Branch, in the District 6 Semifinals.
Tickets for the game must be purchased online for the championship game and can be bought for $6 using The Hometown Ticket Web site. Instructions and a link are listed on the Homer-Center School District Facebook page.
There will be no rest following the championship game Saturday as the PIAA playoffs begin on Tuesday. The winner of Saturday’s game will play the No. 2 team from the WPIAL and the loser of Saturday’s game will take on the champion from District 10.
