Criminal Call hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court, including one for a Monroeville man charged in a domestic violence incident in July.
Indiana borough police charged 25-year-old Patrick Merle Harah with aggravated indecent assault, simple assault and strangulation in connection with an incident early in the morning on July 28th. At the time, police said Harah attacked a victim physically and sexually at a home in the 800 block of Wayne Avenue. Officers said signs of injury were visible.
Another person who will have his case reviewed today is 32-year-old Troy Milo Lucas of Cherry Tree. He was one of the people involved in a traffic stop in Clymer on March 7th of this year that turned into a drug bust. For the case that’s being reviewed today, he faces numerous charges including three counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of resisting arrest, single counts of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and driving on a suspended license, along with multiple summary traffic violations that dates back to May 31st of this year.
Many of the other people due for criminal call hearings today are facing charges related to drug possession or DUI. Criminal Call is designed to update the court and the parties involved on the progress of a case. Proceedings are usually postponed to a later date, but on occasion, guilty pleas have been entered at the Criminal Call phase.
