A man who was on the state police “five most wanted” list will go before a judge today for sentencing hearings in three different cases.
Court documents show that 28-year-old Edward Barnosky of Cherry Tree will go before Judge Michael Clark for the sentencing hearings today. He had been on the state police’s list when he was taken into custody by authorities in June of 2020 on charges of flight to avoid apprehension, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest. He entered a guilty plea to the flight charge. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of strangulation in a second case and a second count of flight to avoid apprehension in a third case, both of which happened this year.
Also today will be two sentencing hearings and a plea hearing for a Clymer man. 38-year-old David Bratcher will have a plea court hearing for charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He has a record in Indiana County, as on October 18th, he was found guilty of theft by unlawful taking for an incident in March of 2020, and to criminal mischief-damaging property in August of 2020.
And a plea court hearing is set for today for 32-year-old Jacequelyn Mehalic of Coral. She was arrested in June of this year for possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, driving on a suspended or revoked license and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also on the state police “five most wanted list” earlier this year and was taken into custody on June 17th.
