The IUP, Pitt, and Penn State football teams all lost on Saturday. IUP was upset by Edinboro, 21-17. Pitt fell to Miami, 38-34. Penn State was beaten by Ohio State, 33-24.

In high school football, Windber scored on a long run on the first play from scrimmage and never looked back as the Ramblers shut out Cambria Heights Saturday night in the Appalachian Bowl, 42-0. See the full stats here.
The Steelers offer the last chance for good news for local football fans when they play today against the Browns. Tight end Eric Ebron has been ruled out for Pittsburgh with a hamstring injury and linebacker Melvin Ingram III will also be out with a groin injury. Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder injury) is expected to start. Kickoff is shortly after 1 PM.
