Coach Mike Sullivan said afterward that failing to score on an extended 5-on-3, followed by a man-advantage for another two minutes may have decided the outcome of the game.
Sullivan said yesterday that Kris Letang is still symptomatic of covid-19 but Jeff Carter remains asymptomatic. Carter could return as early as tomorrow night’s game against New Jersey. He’s eligible to come off the covid protocol list today.
