White Township is issuing two reminders for residents, one for leaves and one for Halloween decorations.
Today is the start of weekly leaf collection for the township. This will run every Monday until November 22nd. Leaves have to be placed in biodegradable paper bags and placed by the curb for easy pickup by White Township Crews.
The reminder concerning Halloween decorations is that today is the final day to enter your house for the 2nd annual Halloween home decorating contest. The deadline to enter is the close of business today. Some of the prizes include gift certificates for ice skating sessions, pavilion rentals and other programs and services from White Township. The prizes will go to the top three decorated homes as scored by the judges.
