The River Valley School District has published the agenda for its special school board meeting tonight, and it is mostly about personnel decisions.
The board is scheduled to hold a committee meeting at 5:30 at the Saltsburg STEAM Academy, the former Saltsburg Middle-High School, and then follow up with a special voting meeting at 7 o’clock.
The board will consider motions to approve the job description of the new Coordinator of School to Community Programming & Services, and to name Katherine Monko to the position, with her start date to be determined based on her release date by her current employer. She is the Director of School & Community Services at ARIN Intermediate Unit 28.
The board will also consider motions to accept the resignation of Elizabeth Oliveira-Pernelli as Director of Educational Technology, effective December 31st, and to hire Linzi Strong to replace her on that same date. A vote is also scheduled on the hiring of Jacob Sweitzer as Payroll Administrator.
There are several other personnel decisions on tonight’s agenda as well.
