IUP will re-enter the Division II Top 25 this week after stunning 6th-ranked Slippery Rock on their home field, 48-21, on Saturday.
It was Slippery Rock’s first loss to a PSAC West team since October 21st of 2017. Next up for the 5-1 Crimson Hawks is another undefeated team, 6-0 Cal U., in the 12th Annual Coal Bowl at George P. Miller Stadium on Saturday. Cal’s game at Clarion was canceled on Saturday due to covid-19, and was designated a “no contest” game by the conference.
After Cal, IUP has only three scheduled games left: At home against Edinboro, on the road at Seton Hill, and either the regular season finale at West Chester or the PSAC championship game on November 13th.

After Saturday’s 28-7 win over Virginia Tech, Pitt has re-entered the Division I Top 25, at #23 in both the AP and Coaches polls. The Panthers will play a nationally-televised game Saturday afternoon against powerhouse Clemson, which has uncharacteristically lost twice this season and is currently unranked by the AP and is ranked 24th in the AFCA coaches poll.
Penn State remained at #7 in the AP poll and is #8 in the coaches poll.
