The other game in the Heritage Conference tonight is Northern Cambria at Penns Manor. West Shamokin plays out of conference tomorrow afternoon at Conemaugh Valley.
A look at the District 6 rankings with the playoffs just weeks away shows Cambria Heights in the second position behind Bellwood-Antis in Class AA. River Valley is fourth, and Marion Center is within striking distance, tied with Penns Valley and Central Cambria with identical 3-4 records, but trailing both schools in ranking points for the eighth and final playoff spot.
In Class A, fourteen teams are playing for twelve spots in the playoffs, so only United is out of contention for now. Homer-Center is second behind unbeaten Portage. Purchase Line and West Shamokin are tied for sixth. Penns Manor is 12th.
In the WPIAL, 4-3 Indiana plays at undefeated Hampton on WDAD, 100.3 FM and Am 1450. Indiana is coming off a 29-14 win over Highlands while the Talbots beat Plum, 35-7.
