Indiana County’s District Attorney announced that a Smicksburg man was sentenced earlier this week for a guilty plea to a charges related to operating a meth lab.
District Attorney Robert Manzi announced that 39-year-old Charles Edward Miller will serve the next four and a half to ten years in state prison for guilty pleas in connection with an investigation that happened back on July 15th of 2020. State police conducted their investigation after receiving a tip that Miller was manufacturing meth at his home. After the investigation, it was announced that around 300 grams of methamphetamine were in Miller’s possession.
In an interview on Indiana in the Morning, Manzi said that he feels that the drug pushers in Indiana County are behaving a lot like the major tobacco companies in targeting children.
He congratulated the state police as well for their work in this investigation, saying that because of the info they acquired, authorities were able to stop a “significant” drug operation in Indiana County.
