Two Pennsylvania House subcommittees will be holding a joint hearing in Harrisburg tomorrow morning to examine the state’s higher education funding allocations. The commonwealth has committed $1.86 billion for higher education in the current fiscal year.
The Education Subcommittee of the Appropriations Committee and the Education Committee’s Higher Education Subcommittee will hear testimony from the State System of Higher Education, as well as spokespersons from the state-related universities and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance.
The hearing will be at 9 AM at the Main Capitol Building.
