State police are asking for the public help in locating the driver who fled the scene of a crash two nights ago along Route 422 in White Township.
Police say 22-year-old Philip Crook of Commodore was driving eastbound when his 1994 pickup truck began to falter. He made it off the highway and got out of the truck, but as he was returning, a black Dodge Ram pickup swerved off the road and struck the partially open driver’s door, destroying the door and causing Crook to dislocate his left arm. The driver of the Dodge briefly pulled off the road but then yelled at Crook and fled the scene.
There is no description of the hit-and-run driver. The accident happened at 11:39 PM Wednesday night and if you have any information about it, you are urged to call state police at 724-357-1960.
