High School football kicks off Week Six tonight with four games on our Renda Media stations, but one Heritage Conference game has been canceled.
Northern Cambria has forfeited tonight’s game at West Shamokin. The district did not post a reason for the cancellation, but Athletic Director Fred Montinaro tells the Johnstown Tribune Democrat that it’s for a medical reason, but not for Covid-19. According to Montinaro, quoted in the Tribune Democrat, “It is not covid-19 related. We have a couple medical concerns. We had the school physician in. Things are under control.”
West Shamokin Athletic Director Philip Parks said yesterday that they were unable to find a substitute opponent for tonight.

On WDAD, Indiana looks to get back on the winning track against 1-4 Knoch tonight. 3-2 Indiana is coming off a loss to Greensburg Salem while Knoch was beaten by Armstrong, 49-6.
