Covid-19 continues to impact Indiana County’s school districts, but all of the county’s school buildings remain open for instruction for now.
Indiana Area reported five new cases yesterday…two at the Senior High, two at the Junior High/Eisenhower Elementary, and one at East Pike Elementary. On its 14-day rolling count, Indiana has eight student cases at the Junior High/Eisenhower building, four student cases and one staff case at the Senior High, two students and one staffer infected at the Ben Franklin Elementary, and one student case at East Pike. Across the district, 64 individuals are currently in quarantine.
Penns Manor reported two new cases in students at the high school yesterday, on the heels of single-student cases at the high school and elementary school reported on Monday.
United reported a positive case in a second grade student yesterday.
Marion Center reported one new case yesterday at the high school. The district currently has 68 individuals quarantined.
River Valley’s rolling 14-day count shows three student cases at the high school, a student and an employee with cases at the Blairsville Elementary, and an employee at Saltsburg Elementary.
Purchase Line’s dashboard shows four current cases in students at the elementary school and a single student case at the high school, with a total of 22 individuals quarantining.
