Pitt scored the most points it’s put up since 1926 (88-0 over Westminster) as the Panthers destroyed FCS school New Hampshire on Saturday, 77-7.
The Panthers’ Kenny Pickett threw for 403 yards and five touchdowns, and he scored on a one-yard run to set the Panthers’ all-time record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (17). Pickett completed 24 out of his 28 passes.
Pitt’s ACC schedule begins next Saturday against Georgia Tech.
