Indiana Borough Council will hold their first meeting without their borough manager tonight.
Former borough manager C. Michael Foote’s resignation went into effect on September 17th, after serving for just over three years as manager. No reason was given for Foote’s resignation. Borough Council President Peter Broad said that the borough would look at some companies that offer management services on a temporary basis and hire a new manager in the future.
On the agenda for tonight’s meeting are motions to authorize the borough treasurer to execute the 2022 Minimum Municipal Obligation and to direct the administration committee to budget $254,345 that will be seen as both an expenditure and a revenue in the 2022 budget. The board will also look at hiring HRG to help with Phase One of the Strategic Management Planning program. Council will also look to authorize the Council President and Vice President to execute the Department of Community and Economic Development contract for the STMP program.
The meeting starts at 7:00 in the borough conference room.
