The Pirates tried and failed yet again to sweep a series (for the 14th time this season), as they ran into tough pitching from the Reds yesterday afternoon.

The Bucs open a three-game series in Miami against the Marlins tonight. Wil Crowe starts for the Bucs. He’s 3-7 this season with a 5.97 ERA. The Marlins counter with righty Elieser Hernandez (1-1, 4.14 ERA).
