On Tuesday, the White Township Plannning Commission gave conditional approval for a new car wash complex.
The proposed Mod Wash car wash would go in at 1416 Indian Springs Road at the former location of Ponderosa. The car wash would feature a 120 foot tunnel for the main part of the wash. One of the conditions in place for the facility is to prove that large vehicles like pickup trucks can make a sharp turn into the facility, according to Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson.
The other conditions that need to be met include an inspection of the storm water facility and approval of the sanitary sewer plan.
In other business, a final site plan was given conditional approval for the Hilltop Baptist Church Property. While there are no occupancy changes, the property owners must complete storm water recommendations from the North Wind Engineering report.
