As the season winds down, the Pirates are making almost-daily roster moves. For yesterday’s game, they called up right-hander Cody Ponce from Indianapolis and claimed righty Connor Overton off waivers from Toronto. Utility man Phillip Evans was sent to Indy and pitcher Dwayne Underwood Jr. was transferred from the ten-day injured list to the 60-day IL.
