Today is Labor Day, a day that celebrates the American labor movement and the work and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States. As today is a federal holiday, there will be some closures in effect.
All federal, state, and local government offices will be closed today. This includes PennDOT Driver’s License Centers. State Liquor Stores will be open today. There will be no regular mail delivery, and Fed Ex and UPS will not run their regular delivery or pickup services. Many banks are closed for the day as well. IndiGo has also announced there will be no bus service today and their offices will be closed for the holiday.
