Pitt’s offense put up historic numbers in Saturday’s season opening 51-7 trouncing of UMass.
Quarterback Kenny Pickett was 27-for-37 passing for 272 yards and two touchdowns. The Panthers had 597 yards of total offense and an amazing 35 first downs against the undersized Minutemen.
Things will get tougher for Pitt next week when they travel to Knoxville for a battle against the Tennessee Volunteers in an ACC/SEC meeting.
