The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired a new cornerback in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Steelers get Ahkello Witherspoon in exchange for a 2023 fifth round draft pick. Witherspoon is a five-year veteran and is now expected to fill a spot that was never filled with the departures of Mike Hilton and Steven Nelson. Witherspoon has started 33 of his 47 career pro games, including four of 11 last season when he had one interception, 20 tackles and four passes defended.
