On WCCS, Homer Center will visit Northern Cambria. Both teams lost last week in their openers. Wildcats coach Greg Page is looking for improvement after last week’s loss to Cambria Heights.
Colts coach Sam Shutty says his young offense showed promise in last week’s loss to Purchase Line.
On WQMU tonight, Penns Manor travels to Marion Center is a renewal of a backyard rivalry that was interrupted last year by the pandemic.
The Stingers played out-of-conference last week and beat Blacklick Valley. Coach Adam Rising looks forward to seeing the Comets again.
Penns Manor coach Bill Packer has to do some patchwork after losing some guys to injuries last week in a loss to West Shamokin. He knows the Stingers will be raring to go in their home opener.

On Cat Country, 106.3 FM, two teams coming off big wins meet as River Valley travels to West Shamokin.
After beating United last week, Panthers coach Jess Houser will tackle their first road trip.
West Shamokin’s Jon McCullough has lost some players to injury in the last week, but the offense is still dangerous. He says that River Valley is going to be a bit of a mystery early in the season because they’re basically a new program.
The other Heritage Conference games include Purchase Line visiting United and Cambria Heights going out-of-conference with a trip to northern Bedford.
On WDAD tonight, Indiana visit Burrell. Coach Brandon Overdorff’s team lost to Ligonier Valley last week and he says they have to play better football.
The Indiana Total Therapy pregame shows air at 6;30 tonight, with the exception of Homer Center/Northern Cambria, where pregame is at 6:20.
