On Thursday night at Jimmy Stewart Airport, the United Way of Indiana County started their 90th year and announced their goal for the 2021 fundraising campaign.

To the strains of “Jet Airliner” by Steve Miller Band, campaign co-chairs Annie Rizzo and Amanda Augustine of IRMC exited an airplane that approached the hangar and revealed that the goal for this year was $654,321.90. Augustine talked about the special meaning behind the number.
200 people were in attendance for the event, and the campaign is off to a good start with $183,000 already raised.
