A woman who went missing from White Township on Sunday was found safe and sound later in the day.
State Police on Sunday issued a Missing-Endangered Person Advisory for 85-year-old Mary Calvetti, a former Homer-Center guidance counselor who was missing from Chambersburg. She had been last seen in the area of Country Lane in White Township around 11:15 AM. Police at the time believed that she was a special risk of harm or injury, or may have been confused.
Around 8:00 last night, Troopers issued an update on their Twitter account saying that the alert was cancelled and Calvetti was found safe and sound. They also thanked everyone for their assistance.
