On Wednesday night, the Save Our Saltsburg Schools group held a town hall meeting where their legal representative updated the community on the progress of their legal battle to stop the redistricting of River Valley School District.

Attorney Joel Sansone said that the group has modified its complaints against the school district twice, including changing who is being sued from the district itself to individual members of the board. While Sansone did not say which members of the board were being targeted, he did talk about why he went to this approach.
He also encouraged citizens of Saltsburg to be present in the courtrooms for the hearings.
The judge he was referring to is the judge who is hearing the case. If all goes well, Sansone expects the cases to come to trial in October.
