Some traffic notes from PennDOT for the upcoming week:
- A resurfacing project in northern Indiana County that was to begin tomorrow actually got started on Friday. The work on Route 119 in North Mahoning Township is between Wachob Road and Marshall Road, about three miles south of Punxsutawney. It is scheduled for completion in October.
- This Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be fifteen-minute stoppages between 7 AM and 7 PM for westbound traffic on Route 422 between Poulos Road and Trim Tree Road in the Cunningham Culverts project area. That $5.7 million bridge/box culvert replacement project is scheduled for completion next summer.
- The resurfacing project on Route 85 through Plumville to the Armstrong County line will continue this week. Signs in the construction zone warn motorists that there may be lengthy delays.
