Next Tuesday, Indiana Borough will join the National Night Out effort with its own event at IRMC Park.
The event is being organized by Indiana Borough Police and will take place from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, August 3rd along North 7th Street. According to a news release from police, National Night Out is an annual event to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places.
Indiana Borough police will be joined by IUP and State Police, the Sheriff’s Department, Citizens Ambulance, the District Attorney’s Office, Indiana Fire Association, the county Emergency Management Agency and PA Fish and Game Commission. Tours of emergency vehicles will be conducted and there will also be demonstrations.
The event is free and everyone is welcome.
