Sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County court.
Among them are three hearings for Christopher Torrance. Court documents say that the 35-year-old man from Indiana pleaded guilty in three cases. The earliest was on October 23rd of 2020. In that case, he pleaded guilty to DUI-controlled substance and blood alcohol content violations. He pleaded guilty to the same charges for an incident on November 3rd, and pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia for a case on November 17th.
Also today, a Black Lick man will be sentenced for six cases today. The cases against 41-year-old Ryan Allen Irwin go back to September of 2019. He entered guilty pleas to charges in each case and will be sentenced for pleas to charges of access device fraud, retail theft, DUI-second offense, attempted criminal theft, and two counts of criminal trespass.
The hearings are set to begin at 8:30 this morning in Indiana County’s court of common pleas.
