Gas price averages continue to go up in Pennsylvania, but they are holding steady in Indiana County as of this morning.
Triple-A reports that as of this morning, Pennsylvania’s gas price average is $3.26 a gallon, which is up a penny from last week and six cents from last month. Last year at this time, gas prices were at $2.41 a gallon. The national average is checking in at $3.16.
Indiana County’s average cost of a gallon of gas is holding steady at $3.28 a gallon. In our area, Westmoreland County has the lowest average at $3.26 a gallon. Clearfield is next with $3.27 a gallon. Armstrong tied with Indiana at $3.28 a gallon, Cambria has an average of $3.29 a gallon. The most expensive gas price average in the region is $3.30 a gallon in Jefferson County.
Warren County has the highest average in the state at $3.36 a gallon. Wyoming county has the lowest average at $3.19 a gallon.
Gas prices in Indiana, White Township, Homer City, Blairsville and Clymer are at $3.29 a gallon this morning, according to Gasbuddy.com
