S&T Bancorp, the holding company for S&T Bank, announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) yesterday.
Christopher J. McComish will take over as CEO beginning Aug. 23, and he succeeds David Antolik, who served as interim CEO and president of S&T since April of this year. Antolik will continue serving as president while McComish takes over as CEO.
In a news release, Christine Toretti, chair of the S&T Board of Directors, said that S&T is confident will be “an excellent fit” as CEO, and she thanked Antolik for his contributions over the past few months saying “David strengthened the foundation for the continued growth of S&T under Chris’s leadership.”
McComish said in the release that he looks forward to working closely with Antolik and S&T’s leadership team, board and employees who “are all dedicated to delivering for our customers, communities and shareholders.”
