The schedule for the Indiana Little Indians upcoming football season was released recently, with 11 games on tap instead of last year’s slate of seven games.
According to the Indiana Area Athletic Department, the Little Indians kick-off the 2021-22 season with three consecutive non-conference matchups: the first will be at Andy Kuzneski Field against Ligonier Valley on Aug. 27, then they take on Burrell the following week in a road matchup, then they return home on Sept. 10 to face Derry.
Indiana begins WPIAL 4A conference play at home on Sept. 17 against the Plum Broncos, followed by back-to-back road games against Greensburg-Salem and Knoch – both of which Indiana beat last season.
Highlands makes a trip to Indiana on Oct. 8, then the Little Indians hit the road once again for two games against Hampton and Mars. They finish up the regular season at home on Oct. 29 against the Armstrong Riverhawks.
There is a preseason scrimmage scheduled for Aug. 21, where Indiana will take on Mount Pleasant at Kuzneski Field. That is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
