Quick work by firefighters prevented a smoky fire from getting out of hand shortly after 6 o’clock last evening in North Mahoning Township.
The Marion Center Fire Department reports finding the electrical fire at the single-family home along Route 210 had extended into an interior wall and dresser. Firefighters swiftly got it out and vented the home, limiting the fire’s effect to only minor damage.
