ARSON SUSPECTS TO HAVE PRELIMINARY HEARINGS TODAY

Preliminary hearings will be held today for two men charged with arson.

Court documents show that both 21-year-old Daniel Scott Heitzenrater and 22-year-old Cody Allen Sanner, both from Glen Campbell, were charged with two counts of arson along with criminal mischief, burglary and reckless endangerment for an incident on December 1^st of last year.  Both have been in Indiana County Prison since their arrest on April 21^st as they were unable to post $75,000 bail.  Their hearings are scheduled for the 10:00 hour before District Judge Robert Bell.

Stephen J. Westbrook is also expected to be in district court in Indiana for his preliminary hearing today at 1:30 PM.  The 44-year-old Philadelphia man  is charged with simple assault, two counts of harassment, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, making terroristic threats, flight to avoid apprehension and driving without a license for an incident early May 1^st when he allegedly attacked a woman and threatened to kill her and her child.  He’s been in Indiana County Jail since then as he was unable to post $30,000 cash bail.

Also due for a preliminary hearing today is 33-year-old Brice Carnahan of Homer City.  He faces two counts of aggravated assault with an attempt to cause serious bodily injury, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident on Feburary 13^th of this year.
