Three people were tried in the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas this morning.
One of the cases was the trial for 31-year-old Amber Lynn of Indiana, who faced multiple charges after she and 26-year-old Marquise Mann were accused of kidnapping a woman – identified only as Erika – back on September 3rd last year. The victim claimed she was held against her will for a debt she allegedly owed to Mann.
Lynn was sentenced by President Judge Thomas Bianco to serve time in Indiana County Jail for all four counts, which will run concurrently. For counts one to three, Lynn will serve 6 months to 2 year less than one day in Indiana County Jail. In count four, which is a level-two misdemeanor charge for conspiracy to false imprisonment, she will serve 4 months to 2 years less than one day. In addition to serving time, Lynn will also have to pay costs and fines.
Mann previously pleaded guilty to the incident on April 20th of 2020, where he was ordered to serve four to eight years in prison.
Also on the docket was the case that involved 29-year-old Devon D. Perrin of Philadelphia, who was tried before District Judge Michael T. Clark for drug-related charges.
Perrin was charged with two felony counts of delivery or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, which he will spend 18 to 72 months in a state correctional institution for each count. Both will run concurrently.
