It is the last day of school in the Penns Manor School District, and the first of Indiana County’s high school graduations is scheduled for tonight at the high school stadium, weather permitting.
Marion Center will have its graduation tomorrow, and Indiana Area, Purchase Line, Blairsville, and Saltsburg will have commencement on Friday. Unless there is a court-ordered stay of consolidation plans, it will be the final graduation ceremonies in the history of the Blairsville and Saltsburg high schools.
Homer-Center’s commencement is scheduled for Saturday, but the last student day is not until next Wednesday, which will be a half-day.
