SOUTH MAHONING TOWNSHIP
State police say two people were injured Friday night in the collision of two pickup trucks at the intersection of Rossmoyne Road and Route 210 in South Mahoning Township.
Police say it happened when 34-year-old Tyshawn Nelson of Creekside tried to turn left onto 210 but collided with the truck of 44-year-old Harvey Fyock of Punxsutawney, who was hauling a horse trailer. Nelson suffered minor injuries and Fyock was injured as well, but both declined to be taken to the hospital. Five passengers in the Fyock truck were uninjured.
MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP
A 16-year-old driver from Freeport was uninjured Friday afternoon in a crash on Burns Road in Montgomery Township. State police say the teen, who is not publicly identified, veered off the road and hit a utility pole, which sheared off and came down on the roadway.
OTHER INCIDENTS
No reports are yet available on an accident yesterday afternoon on Old Route 56 in Center Township, or on a vehicle fire on Route 119 North in North Mahoning Township.
