At yesterday’s PIAA state track & field championships, several Heritage Conference athletes earned honors for their performances.
United’s Maizee Fry took third in girls’ AA shot put with a distance of 41’ 3.5”, seventh in javelin with a distance of 129’ 2” in her best throw, and eighth in discus with a 122’ 7” best throw.
Homer-Center’s Justley and Teagan Sharp earned honors as well. Justley took fourth in discus (129’ 11”) and shot put (40’ 5.5”) while Teagan took third in boys’ AA discus (158’ 08”).
Northern Cambria’s Regan Sheredy placed fifth in girls’ shot put with a distance of 38’ 7.25”.
